Composition

Decide what appears where — assign different prompt content to different regions of the canvas.

Composition gives you a director's control over layout: instead of hoping the AI arranges things nicely, you specify what content appears in which part of the canvas — this character on the left, that one on the right, the castle in the background.

On PixAI

Open Composition in the generation panel's settings, divide the canvas into regions, and give each region its own piece of the Prompt. The AI generates one coherent image while respecting your layout.

When it shines

  • Two-character scenes where each character needs distinct features (Composition prevents the classic "feature blending" problem).

  • Deliberate framing — subject off-center, scenery filling a specific side.

Tips

  • Not available for XL models — use a regular model when you need it.

  • On Tsubaki and Serin, you often don't need Composition at all: describing positions in natural language ("she sits on the hood while he leans against the door") works remarkably well.

  • For borrowing a layout from an existing image instead, see ControlNet.
