Overview
Emilie "Lili" de Rochefort is a fighting game character introduced in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, who also appears in crossover titles such as Street Fighter X Tekken and Digimon World Re:Digitize. Originating from Monaco as the only daughter of a wealthy oil tycoon, she balances her high-society lifestyle as an heiress with a secret passion for street fighting.
Appearance
Lili is a tall young woman standing 180cm tall with long blonde hair styled in a hime cut with blunt bangs, complemented by blue or purple eyes. She wears gloves or fingerless gloves and her signature iconic outfit features a white dress-style top combined with a micro-miniskirt over white undergarments. Her wardrobe also includes a pink ruffle-and-ribbon dress, a hotpants-based ensemble, and a bondage-inspired bridal lingerie outfit.
Personality
Lili carries herself with refined poise and speaks politely, yet she possesses a mischievous, slightly sadistic streak, frequently taunting her opponents. Though deeply devoted to her father, her actions are wildly unpredictable and headstrong. She exhibits a relentless and pushy demeanor when pursuing her rivalries, stopping at nothing—including buying out properties or forcing people onto her private jet—to get her way.
Abilities
Lili utilizes a self-taught street fighting style defined by highly acrobatic leg techniques and kick-heavy maneuvers that mirror dance and gymnastics. In specific attire, she can also perform an item technique that summons a penguin into battle.
Background
Lili discovered her passion for battle after taking down a group of kidnappers who targeted her. To keep her fighting hidden from her peace-loving father, she began traveling the globe on a private jet to participate in street fights. Upon learning that the Mishima Zaibatsu posed a threat to her father's oil business, she secretly entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament to aid him, continuing to join subsequent tournaments for both family interests and personal rematches.
Relationships
Lili holds great affection for her father and is regularly attended by her butler, Sebastian, while keeping a beloved cat named Salt. She shares a fiery one-sided rivalry with Kazama Asuka, going as far as purchasing the Kazama family dojo after suffering defeats to her. Additionally, she mistakenly believes the ancient vampire Eliza, who slept beneath her family mansion, to be her younger sister.
Trivia
Although designed as an unusually tall female fighter (180cm) during her initial development for Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, her official height was not publicly revealed in-game until Tekken 8. In her guest appearance in Queen's Gate: Spiral Chaos, her character traits were adapted to emphasize romantic interest toward women.
