Beneath his reckless exterior, he possesses a deep sense of loyalty and highly values the bond shared among the original gang founders.
Appearance
He features long black hair and noticeably thick eyebrows. When engaging in fights, he ties his long hair back into a single ponytail. His clothing includes long-sleeved jackets and shirts, and his eyes are rendered in yellow, red, or brown depending on the artwork. In an alternate timeline, he sports a slightly shorter hair length with partially bleached ends.
Personality
Baji displays a violent and unpredictable temperament, occasionally attacking bystanders or setting vehicles on fire on a whim. Though academically poor—having been held back a grade in middle school—he exhibits high situational awareness and quick thinking when crisis strikes. Beneath his rough exterior, he harbors a deeply protective nature toward his mother and friends. He routinely demonstrates kindness to isolated individuals and is willing to play the villain to shield those he cares about.
Abilities
Baji is a formidable brawler who acts as a primary combat force within the Tokyo Manji Gang. In addition to his martial capability, he possesses sharp intuition and tactical perception, allowing him to uncover hidden plots within gang politics. He owns and rides a Suzuki GSX250E motorcycle nicknamed "Goki."
Background
Raised alongside Manjiro Sano, Baji built strong connections with the Sano family from a young age. He co-founded the Tokyo Manji Gang alongside Kazutora Hanemiya and others. However, an attempt to steal a motorcycle as a gift for Manjiro inadvertently led to the tragic death of Manjiro's older brother, Shinichiro. In middle school, Baji befriended Chifuyu Matsuno after rescuing him from an attack. To expose a hidden scheme inside Toman, he feigned betrayal and joined the rival faction Valhalla, eventually taking his own life during a major conflict to prevent Kazutora from carrying the guilt of murder.
