Annie

Overview

Annie is a playable Champion in League of Legends, functioning primarily as a Mage and Support. Known as the Dark Child, she is a young prodigy possessing formidable affinity for dark arcane arts and fire magic. Characterized by her deceptively innocent appearance and high burst damage potential, she stands as one of the most recognized and accessible Champions in the game.

Appearance

Personality

Annie balances a childish, playful exterior with a fearsome, nonchalant attitude toward unleashing terrifying destruction. She exhibits a deeply affectionate bond with her bear companion while casually taking down foes on the battlefield.

Abilities

Annie commands powerful offensive fire magic featuring target-selected, directional, and area-of-effect abilities. Her passive trait grants a stun effect to her spells after every four skill uses. Additionally, she boasts notably long basic attack range for harassment. Her Ultimate ability summons her companion bear, Tibbers, into the fray as a massive, dangerous creature capable of striking down nearby enemies with substantial physical and magical pressure.

Background

Annie is the daughter of Gregory Hastur and Amoline, sorcerers of the Grey Order who fled Noxian authority to pursue forbidden dark knowledge in the Voodoo Lands. Raised in a harsh environment beyond the Great Barrier, Annie demonstrated extraordinary magical talent from a very young age, taming a ferocious wild Shadow Bear at just two years old and turning it into a portable plush toy.

Relationships

Annie is the daughter of the warlocks Gregory Hastur and Amoline. Her most loyal companion is Tibbers, a wild Shadow Bear she tamed in her toddler years, which serves as both her treasured toy and a fierce combat pet.

Trivia

Annie is frequently featured in beginner tutorials and early champion unlocks due to her straightforward kit. During earlier competitive seasons of League of Legends, players popularized her in the Support role thanks to her long basic attack range and reliable initiation stuns.
