Overview
Arrow is a character from the manga and anime series Fire Force (En'en no Shouboutai). She is an affiliate of the Evangelist's faction, serving as the chief vice-commander of the Knights of the Ashen Flame and acting as the official Guardian to Sho Kusakabe, the Third Pillar.
Appearance
Arrow possesses a refined facial structure partially concealed under a hood. Her eyes are blue with distinct arrow-shaped pupil patterns that typically point upward, though they occasionally shift direction in response to her gaze. Visual depictions feature black hair, hair tubes, long hair, a tabard, a dress, visible collarbones, and purple nail polish. The flames she manifests are depicted as blue on the cover of the 21st manga volume, whereas the animated adaptation renders them in red.
Personality
Arrow exhibits a taciturn and calm demeanor, defined by an absolute sense of loyalty to her duties and leader. She speaks in a blunt, unfiltered manner, showing little diplomacy even toward allies when expressing her personal opinions or compatibility with them.
Abilities
As a Third Generation pyrokinetic, Arrow can materialize a bow and arrow made of fire to execute precise, long-range sniper attacks. Her fired flame arrows possess destructive force capable of shattering massive ice formations. These shots easily overcome defenses such as Shinra Kusakabe's kicks or Arthur Boyle's Excalibur, reaching a firepower output equivalent to Takehisa Hinawa's most extreme rifle shots.
Background
Operating within the ranks of the Evangelist's followers, Arrow holds a high-ranking officer position in the Knights of the Ashen Flame. Assigned as the Guardian to protect Sho Kusakabe, she confronts the Special Fire Force in various engagements using her sniping mastery. During one conflict, she is rescued by Haumea after battling Maki Oze.
Relationships
Arrow is intensely devoted to Sho Kusakabe, serving faithfully as his designated protector. Her relationship with her fellow faction member Haumea is strained; after Arrow directly admitted that they were incompatible and lacked teamwork, an angered Haumea subjected her to an electric punishment.
Trivia
A notable scene where Haumea tears Arrow's heavily covered outfit after a disagreement, exposing her figure while inflicting electric shocks, gained significant attention among fans due to the stark contrast with her usually reserved dress style.
