Overview

Robin Mask is a prominent Justice Chojin in the Kinnikuman series created by Yudetamago. Representing Great Britain, he stems from the noble Robin dynasty and bears titles such as the Noble Knight of the Mask and the Steel Unsinkable Battleship. Initially appearing as a grand champion and formidable rival to Kinnikuman, he undergoes significant growth to become a foundational leader, trusted tactical mind, and key spiritual pillar for the Justice Chojin.

Appearance

Robin Mask is defined by his silver knight-style helmet and body armor. A notable scratch was left on his visor after colliding with a corner post during the 20th Chojin Olympics, though this was later replaced with an undamaged visor. In animated adaptations, his armor is colored blue over light purple tights. While his bare face is strictly concealed under standard traditions, rare unmaskings reveal wavy brown hair and an exceptionally handsome countenance.

Personality

Robin Mask generally conducts himself with refined British composure and chivalrous dignity, though he carries a fiercely passionate core. In his early career, immense pride in his abilities led to moments of arrogance, and an ensuing defeat driven by obsession briefly darkened his disposition. Overcoming these trials shaped him into a deeply empathetic and mature leader who occasionally exhibits humorous, approachable human quirks.

Abilities

Renowned for flawless physical parameters and tactical mastery, Robin Mask combines high-level technique with formidable strength. He meticulously documents his fighting knowledge in the Robin Memo, transferring techniques to successors like Warsman and Kevin Mask. His arsenal features devastating signature holds like the Tower Bridge backbreaker, alongside high-flying maneuvers such as the Robin Special and Chojin Rocket.

Background

Raised in the prestigious Robin lineage, he excelled in rugby at Oxford University before taking up the mantle of Great Britain's representative to defeat Evil Chojin. After losing his title and suffering exile, he spent time abroad in Africa and the United States, momentarily consumed by vengeance as he trained Warsman under the disguise of Barracuda. Resolving his bitterness through further clashes, he solidified his position as a core veteran fighting on the front lines.

Relationships

Robin Mask shares an enduring rivalry and powerful bond of mutual trust with Kinnikuman. He formed the Chojin Teacher-Student Combo with his dedicated disciple, Warsman. His marriage to Alisa McIntosh withstands numerous hardships, and despite initial conflict stemming from his strict upbringing, he eventually reconciles a strong familial bond with his son, Kevin Mask.

Trivia

Dating back to the series' early comedic roots, Robin Mask displays several quirky moments, such as setting up a hammock beside the ring for a quick nap or cheekily asking for side dishes with a offered bowl of beef. His wrestling career includes numerous championship titles across different leagues.
