Shinonome Akito

Overview

Shinonome Akito is a main character in Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku. Attending Kamiyama High School, he performs as a member of the street music group Vivid BAD SQUAD. Inspired by a legendary live event known as RAD WEEKEND during his middle school years, he devotes himself to rigorous practice in order to eventually surpass it.

Appearance

Akito has short orange hair styled with blonde, yellow-colored streaks and olive-green eyes with slightly downturned eyelids. He wears jewelry such as earrings, along with long-sleeved shirts and jackets that reflect his keen interest in casual street fashion.

Personality

Around elders and strangers, Akito puts on a polite and calm facade, though his true nature is fierce, competitive, and straightforward. He detests half-hearted attitudes and pushes himself relentlessly toward his goals without compromise. Despite his bluntness, he is observant and attentive to others' feelings. He also harbors an extreme terror of dogs.

Abilities

In addition to his vocal skills in street performance, Akito possesses a talent for human beatboxing. He excels at self-improvement through sheer persistence, continually pushing past his own physical and vocal limitations. Furthermore, he has a strong sense for fashion coordination.

Background

Akito was originally a skilled football player in elementary school, but gave up the sport after realizing he lacked the absolute conviction needed to reach the top. During middle school, his sister introduced him to live music, sparking his interest in street performance. He initially sang solo before recruiting Aoyagi Touya to form BAD DOGS, eventually forming Vivid BAD SQUAD alongside Azusawa Kohane and Shiraishi An.

Relationships

Aoyagi Touya is Akito's primary musical partner and closest confidant, having performed together since their BAD DOGS days. He works alongside Shiraishi An and Azusawa Kohane as fellow members of Vivid BAD SQUAD. He frequently bickers with his older sister, Shinonome Ena, though they deeply care for each other. He also shares a comical dynamic with his senior, Tenma Tsukasa.

Trivia

He has a massive sweet tooth and loves pancakes and cheesecake, but thoroughly dislikes carrots. Interestingly, his favorite foods and dislikes completely match those of his sister, Ena.
