Tenma Saki

Overview

Tenma Saki is a central character in Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku. Attending Miyamasuzaka Girl's Academy, she serves as the keyboardist for the band Leo/need, which consists of four childhood friends. Due to her fragile health since birth, she spent most of her middle school years in long-term hospitalization, but returned to school upon recovering for high school. With an unwavering smile and an optimistic demeanor, she acts as the vibrant mood-maker of her group.

Appearance

Saki features long blonde hair with pink gradient tips styled into twintails, complemented by long sidelocks and pink eyes. Her hair is naturally wavy, requiring daily morning styling. Her band uniform incorporates yellow as its primary accent color with a school uniform aesthetic, paired with black thigh-high socks. In her standard school attire, she wears a necktie along with white knee-high socks.

Personality

Saki is cheerful, straightforward, and bursting with energy. Though her stylish look gives off a trendy gyaru impression, she is exceptionally affectionate and proactive. Having spent years isolated in hospitals, she harbors a deep longing for high school youth and memorable experiences, while strongly disliking solitude. She closely follows fashion and beauty trends, frequently practicing hair styling, checking makeup videos, and creating beaded accessories for her friends.

Abilities

Saki serves as the keyboard player for Leo/need. Raised by a piano instructor mother, she possesses early training on the instrument, mastering both traditional keyboards and keytars. Alongside her musical talents, which include composing melodies for her band, she exhibits practical skill in hair styling and juggling, while also contributing actively to event organization within her school.

Background

Having dealt with poor health since childhood, Saki was forced into extended hospitalization during middle school, leaving her out of touch with most of her childhood companions. Upon her recovery and enrollment at Miyamasuzaka Girl's Academy High School, she sought to mend distance with her old friends. After being drawn into the Sekai along with them, she helped establish the rock band Leo/need alongside her reunited friends.

Relationships

Saki maintains a deep bond with her Leo/need bandmates and childhood friends Hoshino Ichika, Mochizuki Honami, and Hinomori Shiho. She treasures pressed flowers gifted by Ichika, who consistently visited her during her hospital stay. She shares a close connection with her older brother Tenma Tsukasa, whose efforts to cheer her up in the past shaped his own ambitions. She also builds friendships with Kiritani Haruka, Otori Emu, and Aoyagi Toya.

Trivia

Due to eating it repeatedly during her extended stays in hospitals, rice porridge has become her least favorite food. She maintains a notebook listing one hundred activities she wished to accomplish once she returned to school, diligently crossing them off. Beyond her musical pursuits, she is a member of the soft tennis club and works part-time at a local cafe.
