In earlier titles, he wears a light blue jacket, which changes to a navy apron in New Leaf and Pocket Camp. As his store expands in New Leaf, his attire changes from a striped shirt to a pale yellow apron, a dark orange vest, and eventually a jacket. In New Horizons, he starts in a dark green patterned aloha shirt, later switching to an apron, and then a blue shirt with a pale yellow apron. In the auto campsite, he wears light blue pajamas with a nightcap.
Personality
Compared to his twin, Timmy has a slightly more laid-back personality and admits that Tommy is the more reliable of the two. He admires Tom Nook greatly, though he feels frustrated that Nook often cannot tell the twins apart. In conversations, he frequently speaks alongside his brother, repeating the ends of sentences in a smaller tone, and sometimes attempts to imitate Nook's speech style in a quiet murmur. He prefers smooth red bean paste.

Background
Timmy first appeared in the original Animal Crossing as a department store employee under Tom Nook. In later entries such as Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, he and Tommy operate their own independent shop and market stalls. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, he joins Nook Inc. to support the deserted island getaway package, eventually opening a dedicated store as the island develops.
Relationships
Tommy is Timmy's younger twin brother, with whom he works closely to run their business. Tom Nook acts as his mentor and boss, whom Timmy looks up to and aspires to be like.
