Abel Walker

Overview

Abel Walker is a character from Mashle: Magic and Muscles. He serves as a house prefect for the Lang House at Easton Magic Academy and stands at the top of its elite faction, Magia Lupus, as the First Fang. Regarded as one of the most capable candidates for Divine Visionary during his academic year, he possesses extraordinary magical strength that far surpasses the standard level of a student.

Appearance

Abel features white medium-length hair with purple tips and pinkish-purple eyes. He has three magic marks on his face, with the third mark being artificially added. His outfit consists of a long white and purple coat worn over a black shirt paired with a white tie. A defining visual trait is the light blue doll he constantly carries around with him.

Personality

Driven by a strict belief in the survival of the fittest, Abel holds the view that the strong should rule while the weak are meant to be exploited and discarded. This harsh outlook stems from the tragic loss of his mother, whose noble kindness to the poor was met with fatal betrayal. Beneath his cold, calculating demeanor, he is a vegetarian who loves cherry tomatoes, and after accepting defeat, he demonstrates a more relaxed side by casually playing card games like Old Maid with others.

Abilities

Abel commands Marioness, a powerful form of Magic that grants him total control over puppets and strings. Through this magic, he can forcibly transform opponents into puppets by severing their brain signals, allowing him to immobilize them and siphon their magic power. His advanced spell, Marioness Seconds: Harm Puppet, summons a massive three-headed doll that casts invisible strings over a wide radius to turn anyone caught within its range into dolls.

Background

Born into nobility, Abel was taught by his compassionate mother to help those less fortunate. However, after she was murdered by one of the very people she tried to help, Abel became disillusioned with society's ideals of equality and sought to reshape the world through strength. At Easton Magic Academy, he gathered elite students to form Magia Lupus and began harvesting magic from pupils. His plans were thwarted when he collided with Mash Burnedead, leading to his defeat and a shift in his perspectives.

Relationships

Initially clashing with Mash Burnedead over kidnapped students, Abel relented after Mash acknowledged the underlying motivation behind his pain, eventually becoming an ally who assists Mash in times of crisis. He commands absolute loyalty from his right-hand follower, Abyss Razor, as well as the rest of Magia Lupus. The memory of his late mother remains the central driving force behind his past actions and philosophy.

Trivia

Abel's character design and core concept were inspired by the character Giga from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. In his downtime, he enjoys spending time talking with his beloved doll and playing card games such as Old Maid with the members of Magia Lupus.
