Appearance
Orsted is distinguished by his white hair styled in a slicked-back manner and golden sanpaku eyes with unusually large sclerae. He routinely wears a rugged white coat crafted from the skin of an ancient white dragon. To slightly suppress his curse, he sometimes dons a helmet crafted by Cliff. In one vision of the future, a large scar is visible across his face.
Personality
Despite his intimidating reputation, Orsted possesses a gentle and composed temperament. He is protective of his allies and shows surprising patience, such as remaining unbothered when played with by children. He habitually refers to individuals by their full names. However, hearing the name of his enemy, Hitogami, immediately triggers intense hostility. Beneath his stern exterior, he harbors a deeply caring nature.
Abilities
Orsted is a master of all known techniques, magic, and Dragon Folk secret arts, possessing unparalleled mastery over combat. He uses Dragon Sacred Touki to achieve supreme offense and defense, capable of dispelling top-tier sword arts bare-handed. He carries the God Blade Chaos, forged by the First Dragon God, but reserves it for dire situations due to his extremely slow natural mana regeneration rate of 1:1000.
Background
The child of the First Dragon God and Lunaria, Orsted was sent to the Human World at Armored Year 330. Imbued with a secret dragon technique, he is trapped in a time loop that resets to Year 330 whenever he dies or fails to kill Hitogami within 200 years. Over more than a hundred loops, he learned the fates and secrets of the world. After encountering Rudeus Greyrat, he eventually spared him and took him in as an indispensable ally.
Relationships
Hitogami is Orsted's sworn enemy. He counts Rudeus Greyrat among his few trusted subordinates, as Rudeus is immune to his curse. Nanahoshi Shizuka is another immune ally who traveled with him. His relationship with Perugius Dola is tense due to the necessity of acquiring the Dragon Generals' treasures. He also gains the allegiance of figures like Princess Ariel and Aleksander Rybak through various conflicts and political maneuvers.
Trivia
Orsted suffers from an innate curse that inflicts intense hatred and fear upon any native inhabitant of the world who looks at him, preventing normal social interaction. Only individuals with strong Dragon blood or those from another world are immune. Due to his role as the head of his anti-Hitogami faction, fans affectionately refer to him by nicknames such as President.
