Overview

Zenith Greyrat is a supporting character in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. She is the mother of Rudeus Greyrat and Norn Greyrat, as well as the first wife of Paul Greyrat. Born as the second daughter of the noble Latreia count family in the Holy Country of Millis, she abandoned her aristocratic life to become an adventurer, serving as the healer for the party Fangs of the Black Wolf. After marrying Paul, she retired to Buena Village in the Fittoa Territory, working at a local clinic while raising her family.

Appearance

Zenith is a well-proportioned woman with a voluptuous figure, bright blonde hair tied back in a ponytail featuring an ahoge on top, and blue eyes. Her attire consists of long-sleeved tops with bare shoulders, neck ribbons, black ribbons, and over-the-knee boots.

Personality

Zenith has a cheerful, outgoing, and deeply nurturing disposition, approaching everyone without pretense. Although raised in an anti-demon noble household, she harbors no racial prejudice and treats members of the Demon race with equal warmth. She is a devoted, doting mother who takes immense pride in her children. As a devout follower of the Millis faith which dictates monogamy, she strongly opposes infidelity, yet her deep family affection allows her to forgive and accommodate others. Her hobbies include gardening and making jam.

Abilities

Zenith is a healer proficient in Intermediate-level Healing Magic and Detoxification Magic, alongside Beginner-level Fire and Water Magic. Acting as the priest for the S-rank party Fangs of the Black Wolf, she possessed solid combat fundamentals capable of supporting high-level encounters. Later, she acquired a telepathic curse associated with a Blessed Child, granting her the ability to perceive nearby thoughts and telepathically communicate with specific individuals and the Sacred Beast Leo.

Background

Born into the aristocratic Latreia count family in the Holy Country of Millis, Zenith was raised as an exemplary noble lady. At age fifteen, after a heated argument with her parents, she left home to become an adventurer. Saved from a scam by Paul Greyrat, she joined the S-rank party Fangs of the Black Wolf. She eventually fell in love with Paul and retired upon becoming pregnant, marrying him and settling in Buena Village within the Fittoa Territory. She gave birth to Rudeus and Norn while working at the local clinic, until the Fittoa Region Teleportation Incident stranded her inside a labyrinth on the Begaritt Continent.

Relationships

Paul Greyrat Her husband, whom she met during her adventuring days. Although furious over his infidelity, she accepted his apology following Rudeus's mediation.

Rudeus Greyrat Her eldest son. She took immense pride in his early magical talent and fully supported his upbringing.

Norn Greyrat Her daughter, whom she raised with maternal care.

Lilia Greyrat The household maid and later Paul's second wife. After resolving the initial breach of trust, Zenith welcomed her as a close friend.

Aisha Greyrat Her stepdaughter born to Paul and Lilia, whom Zenith embraced and raised with true maternal affection.

Roxy Migurdia Rudeus's magic tutor. Zenith welcomed her without racial prejudice like family and taught her cooking.

Trivia

During her noble days, Zenith was praised as the ideal model of a Millis lady. In the Fangs of the Black Wolf party, she was fondly treated as a younger sister and learned cooking skills from Geese Nukadia. She was extremely protective of her home garden, reacting with anger whenever family members damaged her yard trees. Because her birth family, the Latreia clan, produced many fanatical Millis believers, fans frequently speculate that Rudeus's obsessive personality traits were inherited from her lineage.
