Having entered the CCG at sixteen, Hairu is a highly decorated investigator honored with the White Single Wing Award and the Osmanthus Award. She possesses extraordinary dynamic vision and reaction speed, allowing her to move with superhuman agility in combat. Her arsenal includes two S+-rate quinques: the rinkaku Aus and the ukaku T-human. Utilizing these weapons, she can instantly obliterate structural barriers and overwhelm powerful ghouls with precise, relentless attacks.
Background
Raised in the Sunlit Garden, Hairu met Kishou Arima during her childhood. She joined the CCG at age sixteen and participated in the Owl Suppression Operation in the 20th Ward as part of the Arima Squad. She was later appointed deputy leader of the S1 Squad under Koori Ui, investigating the Rosewald forces. During the Tsukiyama Family Extermination Operation, she spearheaded the assault against enemy ghouls. However, while fighting Matsumae, she became distracted by a desire to turn her opponent's kagune into a quinque, causing her to slip on blood and suffer a fatal impalement before being decapitated by Mairo at the age of twenty.
Relationships
Hairu works closely with Koori Ui, addressing him warmly as Koori-senpai while serving as his trusted partner. She idolizes Kishou Arima above all others, seeking his approval; however, Arima held reservations about her due to her uninhibited pleasure in combat. She maintains a competitive stance toward Haise Sasaki, being the sole member of Squad 0 willing to draw a weapon on him when he lost control. Fellow investigator Taimoto Fura respects her terrifying martial prowess, while her final clash connects her closely with the ghouls Matsumae and Mairo.
Trivia
Following her death, her severed body was retrieved by Nimura Furuta, though its ultimate fate after the war remains unknown. In an official calendar illustration, cracks resembling an ukaku kagune were drawn on the wall behind her, sparking fan speculation regarding her potential resurrection.
