Appearance
Naki features short, slicked-back blonde hair and red eyes. He is visibly characterized by his signature white suit costume, and he later sustains a severe physical injury resulting in the loss of his left arm.
Personality
Naki possesses an incredibly emotional, pure, and childlike temperament. Having grown up without formal schooling, he lacks general knowledge and basic literacy, frequently mispronouncing or misunderstanding words. Although he can be shy and guarded around strangers, he is intensely loyal, tender-hearted, and protective toward those he considers allies, willing to face extreme physical agony rather than suffer loneliness.
Abilities
As an S-rated ghoul utilizing a Koukaku kagune, Naki exhibits notable combat proficiency. He possesses exceptional durability and willpower, continuing to battle fiercely even while enduring severe bodily harm.
Background
Imprisoned in Cochlea after taking the blame to protect Yamori, Naki broke out during Aogiri Tree's raid on the facility. Alongside the twin ghouls Gagi and Guge, he initially sought vengeance for Yamori's death. This drove him into conflict with Ken Kaneki; however, after his defeat, Naki recognized Yamori's legacy within Kaneki and pledged allegiance to his organization, Goat. Following the final battle against V, Naki survived the war and ultimately built a large family with Miza Kusakari.
Relationships
Naki idolized Omori Yakumo (Yamori) above all others. Within Aogiri Tree, he shared a close, brotherly dynamic with Ayato Kirishima and was looked up to by subordinates Shousei and Hooguro. Though he initially targeted Ken Kaneki out of revenge, he eventually grew to respect Kaneki as a leader. He also shared a close bond with Miza Kusakari, the leader of the Blades; oblivious to her feelings for a long time, he eventually married her after the war.
Trivia
During his time under Ken Kaneki's leadership, Naki received writing and vocabulary lessons, which significantly improved his speech, though he continued to mispronounce certain names such as Shuu Tsukiyama's.
