When confronted with dogs, such as the small puppy Black Hayate brought by Kain Fuery, his expression turns pale with terror as he flees behind cover.

On the Promised Day, Breda deserted his post to join Mustang's revolt. He assisted in hijacking the Central radio station and securing Mrs. Bradley under the guise of protecting her, using the broadcast to manipulate public information.
