Despite being an ordinary civilian without alchemy skills or military training, Sig possesses extraordinary raw physical power. He is capable of sending the Homunculus Sloth flying with a single punch and effortlessly sweeping through the Mannequin Soldiers powered by Philosopher's Stones. In close combat, his strength rivals that of Major Alex Louis Armstrong.
Background
Sig met his future wife, Izumi, when she bumped into him in town while carrying a massive dead bear following her training. The two married and established their butchery in Dublith, where Sig continuously looked after his wife's fragile health. During the events of the Promised Day, he willingly joined the battle despite his civilian status, providing crucial combat support in the central command area.
Relationships
He shares a deeply affectionate marriage with Izumi Curtis and places her well-being above all else. He serves as a fatherly figure to her students, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric. He also forms a strong bond of friendship with Alex Louis Armstrong based on their mutual appreciation for muscular physique, teaming up with him to defeat Sloth. Olivier Mira Armstrong holds him in high regard as well.
