In the real world, she possesses a mechanical 3E.M.O.M. body clad in a returnee school uniform. Background
Born on April 9 in Rulid Village, Alice lived as the chief's daughter until age eleven, when she inadvertently touched Dark Territory soil and violated the Taboo Index. Taken to the Central Cathedral, her memories were extracted, and she was remade into an Integrity Knight at age thirteen, officially receiving her status as the 30th knight at eighteen. During a clash with Kirito, she uncovered the Axiom Church's deception and broke the Seal of the Right Eye (Code 871). Following the battle against the Administrator, she lived in seclusion caring for the comatose Kirito before returning to command Human Empire forces in the War of Underworld. She ultimately escaped to the real world as the first bottom-up artificial intelligence.
Relationships
Alice shares a deep bond with Kazuto Kirigaya (Kirito), her childhood friend whom she later protected and nursed during his coma, developing intense romantic devotion toward him. Eugeo was also her childhood friend, though her original memories with him were lost upon her synthesis and his passing. She harbors deep love for her younger sister, Selka Zuberg. Upon gaining a physical machine body in the real world, Alice delivered herself directly to Kirito's home by hiding inside a cardboard shipping box. In ALfheim Online, she specifically selected the Cait Sith race because it granted her the ability to ride flying dragons. By overcoming the right eye seal known as Code 871 through pure willpower, she fulfilled the requirements of Project Alicization and emerged as the true artificial intelligence code-named A.L.I.C.E.
