Overview
Seven, whose real name is Nanairo Arshavin, is an original character introduced in the video game Sword Art Online: Lost Song. Born to a Russian father and a Japanese mother, she is a brilliant 12-year-old virtual reality technology researcher. Widely celebrated as the light of VR technology in contrast to the darkness of Akihiko Kayaba, she enters the world of ALfheim Online as a Puca. Within the game, she functions as a popular VR idol dedicated to improving the reputation of virtual reality, while also leading the high-ranking guild Shamrock.
Appearance
Seven has long silver hair, purple eyes, and a very short stature with pointy ears. Her attire includes a hat, earrings, a frilled dress featuring a miniskirt and detached short sleeves, white thigh-highs, a thigh strap, and high-heeled boots. In ALfheim Online, her avatar is adorned with feather ornaments. When appearing in Gun Gale Online, she wears a frilly sci-fi idol outfit called Technician of Light and carries large optical weaponry, specifically an optical gatling gun and a long-range special optical shotgun. During co-sleeping scenes, she holds a military-style rabbit plushie wearing an eyepatch.
Personality
Though Seven puts pressure on herself to live up to the high expectations surrounding her genius talent, she is fundamentally pure-hearted and harbors no malice. She approaches her Cloud Brain research with a pragmatic, deal-making mindset, yet deeply respects the nobility of fully immersing oneself in a role. She frequently greets others in Russian and occasionally displays a tsundere side, covering up her affection by claiming she is merely conducting observations.
Abilities
Equipped with brilliant intellect comparable to Akihiko Kayaba, Seven possesses extensive expertise in VR network development, allowing her to assist in system operations across various games. In ALfheim Online, her avatar relies on spear combat and strategic command due to her modest raw stats. She design-implemented a system in her guild's feather accessories that can collect and consolidate original sword skills and proficiencies within a specific zone. In Gun Gale Online, she wields heavy optical firearms alongside potent healing techniques.
Background
Born in Russia, Seven was separated from her mother and older sister at a young age when her parents divorced due to disagreements over how to raise a child with her extraordinary IQ. Raised by her father in the United States, she grew up without remembering her sister. She later came to Japan to gather network data for her Cloud Brain project through ALfheim Online. After her experiment caused her avatar to go berserk and be defeated, she learned that the player Rain was actually her long-lost sister Nijika, leading to a tearful reconciliation. Following these events, she continues to lend her scientific expertise to various VR project developments.
Relationships
Seven is the younger sister of Rain (Nijika); despite being separated in early childhood, they emotional reunion reestablished their tight sibling bond. She initially clashed with Kirito and his companions over the ethics of using a game for scientific experiments, but they reconciled after her avatar was brought under control. She is close friends with Fukaziroh from ALfheim Online, whom she affectionately calls 'Fuka-chan.' She has also intervened against Seijirou Kikuoka to support Kirito's party.
Trivia
During the early planning phase of the game, her character design concept was inspired by Kate Hoshimiya from World Conquest Zwei Plot. Due to game asset production requirements, her physical measurements were established very early in development.
