Overview
Fukaziroh is a key character in Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online. Her real identity is Miyu Shinohara, a close friend of Karen Kohiruimaki (LLENN) from their hometown. Originally an avid player of ALfheim Online, she temporarily converted her character to Gun Gale Online to support LLENN in the Squad Jam tournaments, quickly establishing herself as a formidable wildcard in battle.
Appearance
In Gun Gale Online, Fukaziroh takes the form of a short, blonde-haired chibi avatar featuring blunt bangs, sidelocks, a single hair bun, and brown eyes. Her gear consists of a helmet, camouflage clothing with long sleeves, brown gloves, pantyhose, and boots. In contrast, Miyu Shinohara's real-world appearance features wavy brown hair, glasses, a knit dress, and a taller physical build. In ALfheim Online, she plays as a female Sylph avatar.
Personality
Fukaziroh is outgoing, cheerful, and straightforward, though somewhat unrefined in her daily routine. She suffers from terrible luck in romance, frequently experiencing quick breakups, and is a chronic latecomer due to her relaxed lifestyle. Despite her rowdy demeanor, she remains a grounded individual who offers sound advice to her best friend Karen. She can also hold severe grudges against game rivals who have bested her in the past.
Abilities
Possessing high stats from her converted avatar, Fukaziroh utilizes her high strength to dual-wield six-tube grenade launchers. With an observer pinpointing targets, she can execute indirect artillery strikes over cover by calculating trajectories, and she can also deploy powerful plasma warheads. Additionally, she can handle smoke grenades, engage in close-quarters combat, pilot reconnaissance drones acrobatics-style on her first try, and operate armored vehicles. However, her accuracy with sidearm handguns is exceptionally poor.
Background
A college student attending university in Hokkaido, Miyu was the one who originally recommended VRMMO games to Karen. A veteran gamer who ran multiple accounts, she named her GGO avatar after her beloved deceased dog. When Karen requested her assistance for the second Squad Jam to confront Pitohui, Miyu converted her character to GGO. Since then, she has repeatedly returned to GGO for subsequent tournaments, serving as a trusted teammate.
Relationships
She is the close childhood friend of Karen Kohiruimaki (LLENN), whom she warmly addresses by her nickname. Upon meeting Goushi Asogi (M) in the real world for the first time, she impulsively proposed to him. She also entertains a fierce rivalry with BB, a player she knows from ALfheim Online who has repeatedly defeated her, fueling her strong desire for vengeance during tournaments.
Trivia
Her player name, Fukaziroh, originates from her late pet dog, which was named using the kanji for 'impossible' (fuka) alongside a traditional masculine suffix. She affectionately named her two grenade launchers 'Uta' (Right-fat) and 'Sako' (Left-child), though she did not alter their physical appearances and cannot actually tell the two weapons apart herself.
