Fluorite, whose real name is Verana, is a character in Arknights: Endfield. Belonging to the Fidia race, she serves as a 4-star Caster operator for Endfield Industries' Action Team Z7, specializing in reconnaissance and battlefield disruption.

Appearance

She has long green hair styled in a ponytail with hair hanging between her eyes, paired with green eyes. She possesses a green crocodilian tail. Her attire consists of a hooded black bodysuit with long sleeves, worn with the hood up, and black fingerless gloves.

Personality

She possesses exceptional observation skills and negotiation tactics, easily seeing through deception. She often observes others from a corner with a faint smirk. Her sharp tongue frequently provokes anger, and her silent moments often herald her next prank.

Abilities

As a Caster skilled in agility and intellect, she wields dual pistols and specializes in applying Nature and Cold effects. She claims her Arts can create sticky liquids with diverse properties. She also leverages her combat instincts and survival skills honed from her mercenary past.

Background

Hailing from a frontier region on the edge of the civilized zone, she grew up enduring constant migration. She worked as a bodyguard for groups like the Boozers and Lame Legs, a member of the Hungry Loops pistol squad, a mercenary for the Scar Mercenaries, and a sniper under Logan. After a stint at a security firm, she joined Action Team Z7 upon Akekuri's request.

Relationships

Akekuri acts as her superior who recruited her into Action Team Z7. Antal views her as a fellow scaled companion, admiring her strong tail and expressive speech style. Catcher regards her with caution due to her mercenary background, though notes her recent interactions with Antal.

Trivia

Her codename comes from the real-world mineral fluorite, composed mainly of calcium fluoride. Prior to the game's release, players noted that her character design shared visual resemblances to Gavial from Arknights.
