Snowshine

Overview

Snowshine, real name Erwin, is an operator from the Ursus race featured in Arknights: Endfield. Employed by Rhodes Island Pharmaceutical Inc., she serves as a disaster rescue specialist dispatched to Endfield Industries, utilizing her knowledge of extreme polar environments to aid teams operating on the planet Talos-II.

Appearance

Snowshine is an Ursus woman with bear ears, blue eyes, and short bobbed hair colored in shades of white, grey, and blue, with bangs covering one eye. Her outfit consists of an open black jacket over a crop top, long sleeves, black gloves, pouches, and goggles worn atop her head. She carries a large shield and a snowboard printed with the word Aurora.

Personality

Snowshine is a brave and dependable rescue specialist who remains undaunted by freezing blizzards and extreme cold. Driven by a selfless dedication to protecting others, she takes great pride in her expertise in polar environments and eagerly offers her assistance for frozen region missions. She is highly industrious, spending what little leisure time she has writing survival literature to help others navigate hostile climates.

Abilities

Functioning as a Heavy Defender with cold-attribute capabilities, Snowshine excels at protecting allies using her giant tactical shield. She is highly skilled in polar survival techniques and emergency medical care, allowing her to efficiently perform rescue operations and hold defensive lines even in harsh blizzard environments.

Background

As human settlements expand across Talos-II, high-altitude and icy regions remain dangerous frontiers, creating a severe shortage of environmental experts. Operating under a framework agreement between Rhodes Island and Endfield Industries, Snowshine leads a disaster relief squad conducting emergency rescues. Despite her relentless workload, she authored the Polar Survival Guide, which became an essential manual for surviving the planet's freezing regions.

Relationships

She shares a strong connection with Aurora from Arknights. Snowshine carries a snowboard emblazoned with Aurora's name and inherits design elements of her massive shield and decorative motifs from her.

Trivia

Snowshine was made available as a pre-registration milestone reward, joining the player's roster after the completion of the prologue. Medical records note that she is non-infected, though additional health checks are recommended due to her prolonged exposure to harsh polar environments.
