Gilberta

Overview

Gilberta is a Vulpo operator appearing in Arknights: Endfield. Affiliated with Rhodes Island, she works as a Messenger (transporter) for Endfield Industries under a mutual agreement between the organizations. After traveling across Talos-II for two years, she joined Endfield to oversee mail delivery and intelligence transport across bases and outposts. She is the Re-Traveler counterpart of Angelina from Arknights.

Appearance

As a Vulpo, she features fox ears and a tail, alongside human ears. She has soft brown hair styled in voluminous twintails cared for with hair oil, which float slightly in the air due to her gravity Arts. Her attire consists of a red and black dress-like outfit with a coat-style outer layer, paired with thigh-high socks secured by belts and engineer boots. When dashing twice in gameplay, she hovers near the ground.

Personality

She possesses a bright, cheerful demeanor, often smiling and affectionately referring to herself as an older sister. Romantic at heart, she loves collecting cute, beautiful, and mysterious things during her solo journeys. While enjoying her peaceful freedom as a courier, she displays an adventurous spirit and seeks to challenge herself by requesting higher-risk missions.

Abilities

She utilizes a rare form of Arts capable of manipulating gravity. In combat, she specializes in crowd control by pulling multiple enemies together and inflicting forced status floating to bind them. Her ultimate skill applies a powerful Arts Vulnerability effect to targets, significantly amplifying incoming elemental Arts damage. Under specific skill conditions, she can also grant minor health restoration to allies.

Background

Originally from Rhodes Island, she began serving Endfield Industries as a courier under an institutional agreement. After spending two years wandering Talos-II and witnessing the tragic realities across different regions, she joined Endfield's operations. She frequently travels back and forth across the boundaries between civilized zones and dangerous frontier regions to deliver mail and guard intelligence.

Relationships

She is the Re-Traveler of Angelina, sharing her rare gravity Arts manipulation as well as design elements of her outfit. Upon meeting the Administrator, she takes a fond interest in them, commenting that they carry a nostalgic scent reminiscent of an unfinished letter. Her unique abilities and lively personality are also noted by Warfarin from Rhodes Island.

Trivia

Her costume and accessories are directly inspired by Angelina's 'Visitor of Factor' outfit from Arknights. Although she does not suffer from motion sickness while traveling on vehicles, flying for extended periods using her gravity Arts sometimes causes her to experience ground-sickness.
