Overview

Goha Yuuna is a prominent character in the anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!. Serving as the young president of Goha Company—the developer of Rush Duels—she is a remarkably skilled duelist who matures from an elementary student into a middle schooler as the story unfolds. Initially reported missing in the underground alien residential zone, she frequently acts according to her strong convictions, driven by her ties to figures like Kirishima Rovian and Ohdo Yuga.

Appearance

Goha Yuuna features long blonde hair with flipped ends and green eyes. Her iconic look includes a pink hairband, a long scarf, a prominent bow, a dress, and knee-high socks. When first introduced, she wore a dark hooded cape to obscure her identity.

Personality

Yuuna exhibits a haughty and willful personality typical of a pampered heiress, often demanding her way and taking drastic measures against obstacles. However, she possesses intense resilience and dedication, willing to push through physical exhaustion for her goals. Initially fanatically devoted to Kirishima Rovian, her affections later focus strongly on Ohdo Yuga, driving many of her later actions.

Abilities

Yuuna relies on a LIGHT Spellcaster deck, primarily the Celeb Rose archetype, capitalizing on Equip Spells to boost her monsters' combat resistance and power. Her ace monster is Celeb Rose Gossip Magician, though she has also wielded Ohdo Yuga's Sevens Road Magician. Beyond dueling, she displays extraordinary manufacturing skill, creating the era's first Fusion card and later constructing the Time Machine card. Within the Quaedul space-time, she momentarily held the uncanny ability to transform others into infants.

Background

Faced with the potential bankruptcy of Goha Company, Yuuna met Yuga, whose assistance revitalized her business and sparked her admiration. After temporarily vanishing to join the Rovian Bandits, she clashed with and eventually befriended Yudias Velgear's group. To save Rovian from being frozen, she single-handedly engineered a Fusion card. When Yuga was converted into a card and returned to his original era, Yuuna aligned with the Dark Matter Empire to build a time-travel device, ultimately leaping into a dimensional rift to reunite with him.

Relationships

Yuuna harbors romantic feelings for Ohdo Yuga, framing much of her ambition around reaching him. She initially held deep admiration for Kirishima Rovian before seeking independence as a duelist. Her relationship with Mutsuba Asaka involves intense corporate and personal rivalry, yet develops into mutual respect. While initially hostile toward Yudias Velgear over ownership of his Duel Disk, she eventually becomes a close supporter of his battle against major threats.

Trivia

When using cards borrowed from Yuga, Yuuna recites his iconic summoning chants rephrased into her own polite feminine speech pattern. Her role as head of Goha Company mirrors the lineage and corporate themes seen in Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS.
