Overview
Misty Lola is a world-renowned top model who appears in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. She becomes one of the Dark Signers, bearing the mark of the Nazca Lizard. Having lost her younger brother, who was her only remaining family, she is driven by a deep desire for vengeance that leads her into duel battles against the Signers.
Appearance
She is a mature woman with long bluish-black hair, blue eyes, and visible lipstick. Upon transforming into a Dark Signer, she wears a black and purple hooded robe, the whites of her eyes turn dark, and a purple lizard mark appears on her face.
Personality
She possesses a calm demeanor and held deep affection for her younger brother. The tragic loss of her brother drove her to severe emotional despair, leading to a fatal car crash. As a Dark Signer, she focuses entirely on revenge rather than the group's overarching mandate. She also practices physiognomy, demonstrating sharp intuition when observing Carly Carmine.
Abilities
She commands a DARK Reptile-type Reptilianne deck designed to reduce opposing monsters' attack power to zero to activate versatile effects. Her primary ace is Earthbound Immortal Ccarayhua, alongside Bad End Queen Dragon, complemented by lock strategies involving Continuous Spell cards. Prior to becoming a Dark Signer, she utilized a WATER Reptile-focused deck.
Background
Devastated by the death of her brother Toby, she died in a car crash but was resurrected as a Dark Signer by an Earthbound Immortal that fed on her hatred. Believing Akiza Izinski was responsible for Toby's death, she sought revenge until discovering during a duel that Sayer of the Arcadia Movement was the true culprit who used her brother in fatal experiments. After unleashing her Earthbound Immortal upon Sayer, she was defeated in duel, but was restored to life after the King of the Netherworld was vanquished, returning to modeling.
Relationships
She deeply cherished her brother Toby. She initially directed intense hatred toward Akiza Izinski under a false premise, but apologized after discovering the truth and later established a friendly pen-pal relation with her. She unleashed her vengeance upon Sayer once his role in her brother's death was exposed. She also showed concern for Carly Carmine, seeing a reflection of her late brother in her.
Trivia
Beyond her primary deck archetype, she employs specialized continuous magic setups to restrict opponent actions. After the resolution of the Dark Signer conflict, she reconciles with her former adversaries and maintains friendly contact via postcards.
