Appearance
She appears as a young female demon with red eyes and short red hair styled in pigtails. Her costume consists of a tour guide suit and skirt accompanied by a matching hat, white gloves, and pantyhose. Her uniform is decorated with red lines patterned after thorns or barbed wire, along with a skull print motif, and she is equipped with a whistle.
Personality

Abilities
She is a Level 3 Dark Fiend monster with 1000 Attack and 600 Defense. When Normal Summoned, her effect allows the player to Special Summon one Level 3 Fiend monster directly from the hand or Deck. Although the summoned monster has its effects negated and cannot be used as Synchro Material, this ability enables immediate Rank 3 Xyz Summons or Link Summons, while Tour Guide From The Underworld herself remains eligible for Synchro material.
Background
Originally released in overseas card sets before making her debut in Japan, she became a prominent competitive card due to her powerful recruitment effect. Her iconic status led to appearances as an instructional non-player character named Guide-san, voiced by You Taichi, in video games such as Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyo Card Battle! and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. Furthermore, a character named Anna Desu based on her design appears as a card shop employee in the manga Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Structures.
Relationships
In card match strategies, she shares famous synergies with Sangan and Scarm, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss, both serving as key partners for her recruitment skill. She also works effectively alongside A.Genex Birdman. Additionally, she shares thematic ties with related cards set in the same lore, including Bus from the Underworld, Beat Cop from the Underworld, and Underworld Torus Reporter.
Trivia
Because of her immense utility in simplifying powerful Rank 3 monster plays, her legal card status has undergone repeated placement on restriction lists in both Japanese and international competitive formats. She remains recognized as one of the hallmark female monster designs of the Trading Card Game.
