Her back features insect wings, her limbs end in curved talons, and a large striped abdomen functions as a blood sac extending from her lower waist. Her skin is marked with black-and-white stripes. In her upgraded form, her limbs and claws become sharper and more spiky, with her skin turning red in the animated adaptation. After her defeat, she appears with prosthetic arms and legs, lacking the blood sac.
Personality
Cruel and highly confident, she views humans and animals merely as sources of nourishment. She exhibits a playful yet sadistic demeanor when confronting opponents, taking pleasure in her power. After abandoning her role as an enemy and transitioning to a peaceful life as a shop poster girl, she displays a more lighthearted and playful side, occasionally indulging in humorous quirks around customers.
Abilities
She commands a specialized strain of mosquitoes over a 50km radius, capable of instantly draining humans and animals of their blood. In combat, she utilizes flight, sharp claw slashes, and a powerful piercing forehead proboscis capable of tearing apart metal limbs. By absorbing the vast amounts of blood gathered by her swarm, she undergoes a transformation into an upgraded state, granting her immense physical speed and striking power capable of destroying buildings in a single blow.
Background
Created as a prototype by Dr. Genus of the House of Evolution, she invaded Z-City with a massive swarm of mosquitoes. After engaging Genos in combat, she ingested the collected blood to reach her empowered form, effortlessly overpowering the cyborg. Just as Genos prepared to self-destruct, Saitama intervened and defeated her with a single casual slap, sending her flying into the distance. She survived the encounter and later resurfaced working at a takoyaki stand alongside Armored Gorilla, using prosthetic limbs and receiving regular blood injections to manage her appetite.
Relationships
She was created by Dr. Genus of the House of Evolution, who regarded her merely as a prototype. Her brutal fight against Genos pushed the cyborg to his limits, ultimately prompting him to seek out Saitama as a master after Saitama defeated her with a single strike. Later in her life, she works alongside Armored Gorilla at a takoyaki shop, relying on him to administer blood injections via a large syringe due to her missing blood sac.
Trivia
While her fate remained unconfirmed in the original webcomic after her defeat, her survival was officially established in the manga remake by Yusuke Murata, where she reappears as a shop mascot. Customers who visit the takoyaki stand often mistake her insect-themed appearance for a human wearing a fly costume.
