Overview
Zenko is a character in the manga series One-Punch Man and the younger sister of the S-Class Hero Metal Bat. Despite being a young girl, she holds immense authority over her hot-headed older brother, who is thoroughly whipped around by her strong personality.
Appearance
Zenko is depicted with short black hair and black eyes. She is commonly shown wearing hair accessories, including hair clips decorated with bows or flowers.
Personality
Zenko possesses an exceptionally strong-willed and fearless disposition. Rather than boasting about her brother's high-ranking hero status at school, she simply adores him as her brother. At the same time, she displays typical young girl interests, such as asking her brother to get her an autograph from the popular hero Amai Mask.
Abilities
Zenko takes piano lessons. She has also demonstrated surprising physical strength, such as effortlessly carrying a massive bouquet of flowers with a single hand.
Background
Initially only mentioned in passing by her brother, Zenko made her full debut in the manga remake illustrated by Yusuke Murata. During a violent encounter where Garou was about to deliver a decisive blow to Metal Bat, she bravely stepped directly between them to put an immediate end to the fight.
Relationships
Metal Bat (Bad) is her older brother; the two share a close sibling bond, and he completely yields to her authority. When encountering the formidable combatant Garou, she showed no fear and boldly intervened to stop his fight with her brother.
Trivia
Her unusual strength is depicted on the back cover of the 11th manga volume. Although initially exclusive to the remake version, she eventually made a brief appearance in chapter 152 of the original webcomic.
