Appearance

She wears her Kinship Stone as a pendant around her neck. Her outfit is an original armor set reminiscent of Barioth equipment, featuring high skin exposure, white fur trimming, a cape, gloves, and boots. Her hair is styled in a ribboned ponytail with bangs that cover one of her eyes.

Personality

Initially guarded and slow to trust others due to past difficulties and a dangerous monster encounter, she gradually softens as she bonds with the protagonist. Beneath her reserved exterior, she possesses a warm heart and a major fondness for cats. By the second game, she matures into a cheerful, dependable senior figure who actively guides others.

Abilities

In combat, she uses a Hunting Horn as her primary weapon. She specializes in party support, playing various melodies to provide defensive and offensive enhancements to her allies. She also works in close coordination with her Monstie, the Barioth Hyoga.

Background

Raised in Kuan Village, she was rescued by the protagonist and Navirou in Etto Cave after being injured by a Khezu. After helping the protagonist during their early journey, she focused her efforts on rebuilding her home village, which suffered heavy damage from the Black Blight. In Monster Hunter Stories 2, she steps in to assist the new protagonist during a tough fight against a rage-rayed Zabatrioth.

Relationships

She forms a deep bond of trust with the original protagonist and Navirou after they rescue her. In the sequel, she acts as a supportive mentor figure to the new protagonist. She shares an inseparable bond with her Barioth Monstie, Hyoga. In the anime, she is also revealed to have an older brother who travels away from home.

Trivia

Her signature Barioth-inspired outfit is an original design that was later added to the Nintendo 3DS version of the first game via Update Ver. 1.2.0 as cosmetic equipment. Furthermore, the fact that Kuan Village is her birthplace was first introduced in the Black Riders arc of the anime adaptation before being featured in the second game.
