Overview
Griseo is a character from Honkai Impact 3rd. A MANTIS fusion warrior who belonged to the anti-Honkai organization Fire-Moths in the Previous Civilization, she ranks eleventh among the Thirteen Flame-Chasers, bearing the Signet of Stars. Exceptionally soft-spoken, she communicates her thoughts and feelings through art rather than speech. She took on Project Ark to search for a new home beyond Earth, embarking on a long cosmic journey during which she eventually grows into adulthood.
Appearance
She has very long blue hair styled in low twintails, an ahoge, and purple eyes. Her attire features a white off-the-shoulder dress complemented by hair ornaments, earrings, and gloves. Originally possessing a young physique and appearing barefoot, she grows into a tall, voluptuous adult woman over the course of her thousands of years spent executing Project Ark.
Personality
Griseo is soft-spoken, detached from mundane matters, and deeply immersed in her art. She has a unique sensitivity that causes her personality to absorb the traits of whoever she interacts with, which she normalizes only by painting. Though inherently pure and gentle, her personal lifestyle inside her spaceship is surprisingly slacker-like—leaving art supplies strewn about, operating her computer with her feet, and eating uncooked vegetables whole.
Abilities
She possesses the authority to materialize her imagination, using painting on canvas to summon entities as combat forces. She is constantly guarded by 'Mr. Knight,' a white-armored sword-wielding knight manifestation that hides in her shadow. In her young 'Starry Impression' form, she wields a giant paintbrush alongside a cross. In her mature 'Cosmic Expression' form, she fights using a fountain-pen lightsaber and summons meteors targeted via her cross.
Background
Born to Ato, a Fire-Moth warrior, and Blanca, Mobius's assistant, Griseo became a fusion warrior to survive the incident involving the Eighth Herrscher that took her mother's life. After her father died fighting the Ninth Herrscher, she was raised by the surviving Flame-Chasers. She later volunteered for Project Ark, traveling through space for thousands of years. She was eventually found trapped in a dream loop inside a damaged pod on Poros by Fu Hua, who awakened her to rejoin her allies.
Relationships
She projects the memory of her parents, Ato and Blanca, onto her guardian entity, Mr. Knight. She spent the most time with Kosma, who was closest to her in age and suggested she walk barefoot. She regards Elysia as an elder sister, Aponia as a mother figure, and Mobius as an aunt—sometimes calling her 'Grandma Mobius' due to Elysia's influence. She is also deeply familiar with Vill-V through her recorded guide voice aboard the spaceship.
Trivia
Because she perceives and understands people as art materials and paint colors, the names she gives her artworks tend to be highly abstract. Due to her MANTIS gene modifications, her aging rate was extremely delayed during her thousands of years aboard the spaceship, taking over 3,500 years to reach her adult physical state.
