Susannah Manatt is a character from Honkai Impact 3rd. Hailing from a wealthy West Asian jeweler family, she refused to inherit her parents' business and instead joined Schicksal to become a Valkyrie. Initially assigned to the Phosphoros Squad as a B-rank Valkyrie, she later joined the Immortal Blades. Despite her timid and somewhat clumsy nature, her diligence and investigative skills eventually earned her promotion to A-rank status, alongside a prominent role in Schicksal's public relations.
Appearance
She has long blonde hair with a prominent ahoge, paired with golden eyes. Her outfit features an Arabian dancer-inspired style complete with decorative jewelry, a choker, hair ornaments, bare shoulders, and detached sleeves.
Personality
Cheerful and naive, Susannah is an earnest hard worker who diligently takes notes every day and puts full effort into her training. She possesses an immense admiration for S-rank Valkyries and legendary heroes, often viewing them with starry-eyed reverence. Though naturally timid and easily terrified by things like mice, she maintains strong determination, even while feeling self-conscious about showing off her dancing talents in public.
Abilities
Utilizing physical capabilities trained through dance, she fights as a Quantum-type physical attacker wearing the 'Valkyrie Quicksand' battlesuit. Armed with a chakram, her combat style focuses on inflicting Bleed status to deal continuous damage. Her Ultimate skill boosts its power through timed rhythm taps on screen while stripping quantum shields. Beyond combat, she excels in intelligence gathering, investigation, and gemstone appraisal.
Background
Inspired by novels in her youth, she rejected her family's merchant path to join Schicksal. During an investigation into the Second Divine Key in London, her guileless nature led Otto Apocalypse to secretly impersonate her form as a cover. She later offered vital assistance during major crises, including aiding Li Sushang after her long sleep. Through special training in Cat Town under S-rank Valkyries and operational experience alongside Seele, she grew into a reliable operative who eventually co-hosted Schicksal's popular promotional channel alongside the cat Stan.
Relationships
She holds immense respect for S-rank Valkyries Durandal, Rita Rossweisse, and Li Sushang, receiving direct mentorship from them during training in Cat Town. She was paired with Seele Vollerei for field operations in Part 1.5. She maintains a close friendship with Alvitr and hosts a video program alongside the cat Stan, while also looking up to veteran Valkyries like Lewis Pepper.
Trivia
Her favorite foods include dates, camel cheese, and pilaf, and she enjoys reading manga and light novels. She dislikes performing dances in front of relatives due to awkward childhood memories. Starting as a background character in promotional comics, her popularity led to her becoming a playable character. By the era of A Post-Honkai Odyssey, her broadcast shows inspire new recruits to join Schicksal.
