Appearance
She is a young girl with a blonde bob cut and large green eyes featuring highlights near the bottom. She wears a deep blue ribbon on one side of her head, a gift from Switzerland inspired by her national flag. Formerly, she had long hair styled in twin braids before cutting it short. She has a petite physique and typically wears a dull red striped dress with puffy sleeves, white tights, and Mary Jane shoes.
Personality
Liechtenstein has a gentle, soft-spoken, and well-mannered demeanor, yet she possesses a clear inner strength and expresses her views firmly when necessary. Abilities
While she does not possess her own military force, Liechtenstein is highly skilled in needlework and embroidery, capable of making clothing and pajamas by hand. She is also adept with high-tech matters and is well known for issuing postage stamps.
Background
Following a severe economic crisis during the post-World War I period, she received critical assistance from Switzerland and placed herself under his protection as a neutral nation. Desiring to resemble Switzerland, she cut her long braids into a short haircut; however, wearing a military uniform led townsfolk to mistake her for his younger brother, upsetting her until Switzerland bought her a blue hair ribbon. She relies on Switzerland for defense and various civil systems.
Relationships
She shares a close sibling relationship with Switzerland (Vash Zwingli), whom she affectionately addresses as her older brother and relies on entirely. As a member of the Germanic family group, she shares heritage with characters such as Austria (Roderich Edelstein), Holy Roman Empire, Prussia, and Germany. Historically, she lent money during the Czechoslovakia era that was not returned after the nation split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Trivia
Her official human name remains undecided in canon, though author-suggested candidates include Erika, Vogel, and Tsutsia, while fans frequently use nicknames like Nora Zwingli. A recurring anecdote involves her accidentally giving Switzerland the frilly, cute pajamas she made for herself instead of his intended set, leading to him wearing her frilly design. The deep blue color of her hair ribbon reflects the color of the Liechtenstein flag.
