During an encounter with a slave trader, he freed a captive kobold named Kuro, who killed the trader in defense; Mickbell subsequently hired Kuro as his bodyguard. He later traveled to the island and joined Kabru's adventuring party. After the dungeon events resolve, he fulfills his ambition of starting a odd-jobs shop alongside Kuro.
Relationships
He shares an inseparable bond with Kuro, far exceeding a standard employer-bodyguard relationship.
