Appearance
Milsiril is an elf of small stature, standing around 150 cm tall, with silver hair and brown eyes that have barely visible pupils. She features pointed ears and possesses numerous visible scars along her arms and legs. Her expression is often cast downward with a dark demeanor. Having retired from active military service, she no longer wears her former unit's uniform.
Personality
Despite her formidable combat talents, Milsiril is emotionally fragile, gloomy, and burdened by a deep sense of inferiority. She struggles to bond with other elves and tends to distance herself from her own kind. She harbors a passionate habit of adopting parentless children of short-lived races; while her care for them is intensely loving, her behavior can resemble someone coddling a pet. Nevertheless, she devotes tremendous effort to supporting their curiosity and wellbeing.
Abilities
Milsiril is highly skilled in puppet manipulation and is a master swordswoman. During her time in military service, she was regarded as one of the elite combatants of her unit, earning respect even from Mithrun. She personally trained Kabru in swordsmanship; however, her martial instructions were tailored specifically toward anti-humanoid techniques rather than combat against monsters.
Background
Hailing from the prestigious Toll family, Milsiril spent part of her life serving as a guard and vice-captain within the Canaries. Following the tragic disaster in Utaya, she grew disillusioned with her position and retired to the mountains. She took in the desire-drained Mithrun to assist in his rehabilitation, and she adopted Kabru as a young orphan, raising and training him into adulthood.
Relationships
She raised Kabru as her adopted son, instilling her combat style in him. The elf Otta criticizes her tendency to treat short-lived races like cherished pets rather than equals. While she initially found her former comrade Mithrun difficult to approach, she later took charge of protecting him. She also maintains a connection with Helki, a former prisoner who respects her greatly and turns to her for advice.
Trivia
While she enjoys eating fruitcake, she has a long list of foods she dislikes, including beans, carrots, mushrooms, organ meats, shellfish, and strawberries.
