Overview
A character from Delicious in Dungeon. He is an elven male who serves as the captain of the Canaries, a special task force dispatched to investigate and suppress dungeons that exceed dangerous levels. Having once been a dungeon lord himself, he possesses unmatched combat abilities within his squad.
Appearance
An elven male with silver hair and black eyes that lack irises. His long ears, characteristic of elves, are noticeably notched midway. His right eye remains perpetually half-open and is blind. He wears a outfit consisting of a long-sleeved shirt topped with a cloak, and has a smaller physical frame.
Personality
He is extremely stoic, showing virtually no emotional expression and speaking only when necessary. Having had almost all of his earthly desires devoured by a demon save for his urge for revenge, he completely lacks basic physiological needs such as hunger, sleep, and the urge to care for himself. While unable to live independently without assistance, he remains coldly pragmatic in execution, taking ruthless measures to achieve his goals.
Abilities
He is a master of teleportation magic that swaps spatial coordinates of objects and locations. He can trigger this power with a simple physical touch without a staff, seamlessly combining it with agile close-quarters combat. His tactics include burying enemies inside solid structures or teleporting matter directly inside an opponent's body. However, his profound lack of directional awareness makes precise spatial targeting difficult.
Background
Hailing from the prominent House of Kerenshil, he was once an expressive young man serving in the Canaries. Fueled by inner turmoil regarding his family position, he made a deal with a dungeon demon and became a dungeon lord. After the demon devoured his desires and abandoned him, he was rescued with only a burning obsession for revenge remaining, eventually returning to duty after decades of rehabilitation.
Relationships
His Canary subordinates, such as Pattadol and Cithis, oversee his daily care while supporting him on missions. After falling into the lower depths of the dungeon alongside the tallman Kabru, he travels with him; Kabru acts as his primary caretaker and plays a pivotal role in reviving his motivation to live.
Trivia
After fulfilling his long-sought revenge against the demon, he dedicates his post-service life to the study of dungeons and monsters, while surprisingly taking up the craft of making soba noodles as a new personal interest.
