Overview

Colt Grice is a supporting character in the manga and anime series Attack on Titan. As the eldest member of the current generation of Eldian Warrior Candidates serving Marley, he is chosen to be the next heir to the Beast Titan. He acts as a caring and responsible figure to the younger candidates, particularly his younger brother Falco Grice.

Appearance

Colt is a young man with short blonde hair parted neatly, sideburns, and brown eyes. He wears the standard Marleyan military uniform designated for Eldian Warrior Candidates along with an armband.

Personality

Colt is defined by his deeply compassionate and protective nature, especially toward his younger brother, Falco. Responsible and mature, he naturally assumes a big-brother role among the warrior candidates. Unlike some who are consumed purely by military zeal, Colt prioritizes the safety and emotional bonds of his family above all else.

Abilities

As the eldest warrior candidate, Colt possesses superior military qualifications and training, earning him the right to be designated as the next inherits of the Beast Titan.

Background

Colt and his brother Falco became Warrior Candidates to protect their family after their uncle was revealed to be a member of the Eldian Restorationists. During the attack on Liberio, Colt attempted to save his fellow candidates and later joined the Marleyan assault on Shiganshina to recover Falco and Gabi. Upon discovering that Falco had accidentally ingested Zeke Yeager's spinal fluid, Colt desperately pleaded with Zeke to delay his Titan-activating roar. When Zeke refused, Colt chose to tightly embrace his transforming brother, perishing in the process.

Relationships

Colt shares a powerful fraternal bond with his younger brother, Falco Grice, whom he tried to protect until his final moments. His uncle, Grice, was an Eldian Restorationist whose history forced Colt into military service. He was set to inherit the Beast Titan from Zeke Yeager, whom he pleaded with to save Falco. He also acted as a protective senior figure to fellow candidates Gabi Braun, Udo, and Zofia.
