Characterized by his extremely taciturn demeanor and stoic posture, he faithfully follows organizational directives while occasionally voicing his blunt observations in a distinct manner. Despite his cold profession, he exhibits strong loyalty toward select peers while maintaining sharp operational focus.
Appearance
Korn is a male character with an elongated face. He is consistently depicted wearing a hat pulled over his head and dark sunglasses, never removing these accessories to show his eyes.
Personality
Extremely quiet, patient, and stoic, Korn speaks in a blunt, fragmented manner that often omits grammatical particles. In contrast to his hot-headed partner Chianti, he remains calm and composure-driven. Beneath his cold-blooded exterior, he displays surprising traits such as expressing disappointment over betrayal or secretly wanting to ride a Ferris wheel. He values comradeship among trusted peers and holds a deep resentment toward Vermouth for manipulating and abandoning Calvados.
Abilities
Korn is a highly skilled sniper who utilizes a Remington 700 rifle with a maximum effective range of around 600 yards. When conducting joint sniper operations, he takes the lead in designating firing positions. He possesses exceptional observation skills, quickly spotting subtle anomalies such as a vehicle parked facing the wrong direction. In combat scenarios, he displays tactical resourcefulness, such as shooting a moving trailer to cause a rollover and draw out a hidden target.
Background
Korn is an operative of unknown nationality, though his speech patterns suggest a foreign background. Within the Black Organization, he works extensively with Chianti as part of their elite sniping unit. He has participated in numerous key operations, including security during high-stakes transactions at Tropical Land, assassination plots against high-profile figures, and the elimination of suspected spies and traitors within the syndicate.
Relationships
Korn regularly partners with Chianti on sniper missions, maintaining operational control despite her aggressive personality. He felt a strong sense of camaraderie toward Calvados and deeply despises Vermouth for abandoning him to his death. He operates under the orders of executives like Gin and frequently finds himself in conflict with adversaries of the Organization, including Edogawa Conan, Shuichi Akai, and Andre Carmel.
Trivia
His codename Korn originates from the traditional German distilled spirit produced from grains such as barley, wheat, rye, or buckwheat. Despite showing a cold willingness to eliminate renegade members like Irish, he also displays rare moments of regret when forced to execute individuals he previously trusted, such as Stout.
