Trivia

Her name is derived from Maurice Leblanc, the French author of the Arsène Lupin series. Creator Gosho Aoyama has described her role as akin to Dr. Watson to Shinichi's Sherlock Holmes. Her physical design was originally modeled after real-life Japanese celebrities from that era. She is also known for attaching a sea cucumber mascot strap to her phone.
