Appearance
Kawakami Princess features long, reddish-bay hair styled in a hime cut with parted bangs exposing her forehead and a braided half-up updo. She has blue, upturned eyes, short eyebrows, and raised hair intakes. Her left ear is adorned with a silver crown featuring inverted heart shapes alongside a ribbon striped in green and pink. Her primary racing outfit, Princess of Pink, is a vibrant pink dress inspired by magical heroines, decorated with flame and diamond motifs, and finished with ribbon tails carrying her initials.
Personality
Kawakami Princess strives to project the refined grace of a fairytale princess, carefully employing aristocratic speech patterns. Beneath this polished exterior lies an intensely energetic, impulsive, and fierce nature; when excited or determined, her refined tone slips into passionate battle cries and rough phrasing. As a devoted fan of the animated series Bakusou Mouki☆Princess Fighter, she believes a princess should actively pursue and propose to her prince rather than await rescue. Though she occasionally worries that her overwhelming muscular strength conflicts with her royal ideal, her formidable willpower enables her to embrace her unique path.
Abilities
Kawakami Princess possesses extraordinarily high physical strength, capable of bench-pressing 150-kilogram barbells and crushing writing utensils with her bare grip. Her sheer force allows her to chop household appliances in half, jump off school walls leaving structural damage, and compete on equal terms in sumo wrestling with Hishi Akebono. She also demonstrates exceptional proficiency in physically exterminating household pests and catching rhinoceros beetles. On the racetrack, she excels in turf middle-distance events, utilizing a late-charging style that unleashes intense speed when engaging rivals in the final stretch.
Background
During her childhood in the countryside, Kawakami Princess was known as a notoriously wild youth. Her life changed after discovering an animated TV series about a fighting princess, which inspired her to pursue her own path to royalty. Upon enrolling in Tracen Academy, she threw herself into intensive athletic conditioning, frequently causing accidental property damage around campus that drew the ire of Air Groove. On the racetrack, she established her athletic credentials by claiming victory in major classic races, including undefeated runs through the Yushun Himba (Japanese Oaks) and the Shuka Sho.
Relationships
Kawakami Princess holds King Halo in high esteem as her absolute role model and mentor, constantly striving to embody her refined guidance. She shares a dorm room at Ritto Dormitory with Seeking the Pearl, working alongside her on campus event committees. Due to her frequent physical mishaps around campus, she is regularly pursued and reprimanded by Air Groove. On the track, she maintains a fiercely competitive rivalry with Fusaichi Pandora during major racing campaigns, while maintaining respectful bonds with fellow academy peers like Mejiro McQueen and Mejiro Dober.
Trivia
Her name is derived from her real-life counterpart's owner and breeding facility, Mitsuishi Kawakami Farm, combined with the title Princess in hopes that she would become the pride of her birthplace. The real-world racehorse was known for a notoriously fierce temperament, prompting warning signs to be posted outside her stable. The initials decorated on her racing ribbon design mirror a similar stylistic element found on King Halo's attire. Additionally, her family home keeps a pet dog named Sebastian, whom she dresses in full butler attire.
