Overview
Tucker Bryne is a game-original character appearing in Umamusume Pretty Derby. Serving as a central figure in the training scenario "Welcome to the Uninhabited Island -DESIGN YOUR ISLAND-", she operates as the head manager and site supervisor for the Uninhabited Island Project. Her mission is to oversee the construction of "Tracen Island," a comprehensive training facility built to elevate the capabilities of Tracen Academy students. Beneath her energetic and dynamic outward demeanor lies an exceptional organizer and leader.
Appearance
She is a tall horse girl with a noticeably high stature. Her hair features a unique buckskin or dun-like tone rarely seen in standard thoroughbreds. As her primary visual accessory, she wears a vibrant red scarf tied around her neck.
Personality
Outwardly, she acts as a boisterous, upbeat, and energetic leader who passionately encourages others to unleash their wild instincts. However, her true character is highly intellectual, practical, and level-headed. Having been remarkably quiet during her student days, her serious and quiet nature occasionally resurfaces during work and casual conversation.
Abilities
Although she lacked the innate racing speed needed to compete at Tracen Academy's top tier, she possesses remarkable administrative, management, and leadership capabilities. Despite her lack of competitive racing accomplishments, her physical strength is exceptionally high, demonstrated when she single-handedly helped push a stranded bus out of a deep road pothole.
Background
Demonstrating high academic achievement from a young age, she recognized her limitations as a competitive runner and pivoted toward mentorship and supportive roles. While holding an independent position, she envisioned an expansive training island. After passionately pitching her proposal to a high-ranking URA executive during a chance encounter while drinking, her concept was approved, establishing the desert island project under her direction.
Relationships
She works closely with numerous horse girls from Tracen Academy who assist in constructing and utilizing the uninhabited island facilities. Additionally, she holds a direct connection to URA executives, having personally persuaded them to fund and back her project.
Trivia
Her official birthday of June 21 is notably late for northern hemisphere thoroughbreds, which along with her unusual coat color has spurred fan speculation that her design originates from non-thoroughbred breeds. Furthermore, her lack of racing records and red scarf have led fans to propose links to Narita Brarian, a famous racing pony known for wearing a red shadow roll.
