Overview
Decapre is a playable character in the Street Fighter fighting game series, making her debut in Ultra Street Fighter IV. She serves as a member of the Dolls, an elite assassin unit under the direct command of Shadaloo leader M. Bison. Created as an imperfect clone of Cammy White, Decapre is a tragic figure who spent much of her life under heavy brainwashing before eventually breaking free from Shadaloo's grasp.
Appearance
Decapre closely resembles Cammy White, though her skin tone and long braided hair are noticeably paler. She wears a garrison cap, a body-fitting leotard with pantyhose, and fingerless gloves. The left side of her face is marked by a severe burn scar, which she hides behind a metal mask. She equips heavy gauntlets on both arms that deploy combat blades. In Street Fighter V, her design updates to feature a uniform with a new mask illuminated by three horizontal pink lines, along with modified gauntlets that channel Psycho Power to manifest energy daggers.
Personality
While subjected to Shadaloo's mind control, Decapre typically speaks in a flat, emotionless tone. However, because her brainwashing is incomplete, extreme emotional stress causes her to lose control and lapse into violent fits of rage. She harbors an intense, deep-seated hatred for Cammy White, whom she views as the successful counterpart to her own imperfect state. Despite her harsh demeanor under conditioning, she dislikes vague communication and holds a fondness for dogs.
Abilities
Decapre combines Shadaloo martial arts with retractable arm blades, alongside technical expertise in precision machinery repair. Her fighting style emphasizes high speed and charge-based maneuvers. Her arsenal includes the rapid stabbing attack Rapid Dagger, the anti-air strike Strafe Dagger, and the mid-air corkscrew kick Spiral Arrow. With her invulnerable high-speed movement technique Scramble, she rapidly repositions to execute diverse follow-ups. Her powerful techniques include Psycho Stream, which creates a slow-moving energy sphere for joint pressure, and DCM, a high-speed flying knee strike that leads into airborne slicing attacks.
Background
Created from M. Bison's DNA as an imperfect clone, Decapre was initially rated as a failed specimen. After being defeated during Han Juri's raid on a Shadaloo facility, she was taken to S.I.N. laboratories for further cybernetic and physical enhancement. She escaped the facility in a frenzy to hunt down Cammy White, but her body's dependence on regular medical treatment caused her to collapse, prompting M. Bison to reclaim her. She underwent additional modification by F.A.N.G during the events of Street Fighter V. Following the collapse of Shadaloo, her mind control was permanently shattered, leading her to join the special forces group Delta Red alongside Cammy.
Relationships
Decapre was controlled and manipulated by Shadaloo leader M. Bison, who used her as an obedient assassin. She initially directed overwhelming hatred toward Cammy White, driven by complex feelings over Cammy being the successful clone while she was deemed a failure. After Shadaloo's fall and her liberation from brainwashing, the two reconciled and became close comrades in Delta Red. She also faced hostility from Han Juri, who defeated her during an attack on Shadaloo, and later underwent operational modifications under F.A.N.G.
Trivia
Her codename, Decapre, is derived from the Russian word for December (Dekabr), reflecting her canonical country of origin, Russia. Like other members of M. Bison's elite guard, the Dolls, her designation corresponds to a month of the year on the calendar.
