Overview
Jamie Siu is a male martial artist appearing in Street Fighter 6. Calling himself Chinatown's self-styled peacekeeper, he protects the peace of his local neighborhood and stands up for his companions. Positioned as a rival to Luke, he deeply admires the Twin Dragon brothers, Yun and Yang, from previous titles.
Appearance
He has long black hair styled into a braided queue, brown, yellow, or black eyes, dark skin, and a toned, muscular build showing detailed abs. He wears jewelry such as earrings. His default attire features open-chested Chinese-style clothing consisting of a yellow jacket and loose pants. When reaching maximum drink level in battle, his braided hair unties to flow freely and his skin turns red. He also has a formal Hanfu outfit designated as Outfit 3.
Personality
He is an honorable person who values justice, companionship, and martial arts, prioritizing the safety of his neighborhood. He dislikes being lectured and cannot stand arrogant people, yet holds immense respect for his grandmother (his master) as well as Yun and Yang. He is also aware that his informal peacekeeper activities put him in a legally ambiguous position from a law enforcement perspective.
Abilities
He fights using an original martial art that merges Zui Quan (Drunken Fist) with breakdancing, leveraging his general skill in dance. By drinking a secret clan herbal tea from his gourd during battle, his Drink Level rises, unlocking and expanding his techniques. His arsenal includes the diving strike Mu Eishuu, the breakdance-like Bakkai, the paralyzing throw Tenshin, the Shippu Sensho follow-up from Suishippo, as well as moves like Chokyu Tai and Ryusuiken.
Background
Hailing from Hong Kong, China, he trained under the influence and guidance of the Lee brothers, Yun and Yang, whom he long admired, eventually developing his own fighting style. He spends his days resolving troubles in Chinatown, driving off thugs, and interacting with other fighters who visit the area.
Relationships
He shares a competitive rivalry with Luke. He views the Lee brothers, Yun and Yang, as his respected predecessors and role models. He deeply respects his grandmother, who serves as his master. Regarding Chun-Li, he feels slightly hesitant to approach her due to her position as a police officer.
Trivia
His favorite foods are wonton noodles and latiao, while he dislikes all fish dishes. His hobby is playing the trumpet. Because the herbal drink he consumes during matches is not alcohol, he does not suffer from hangovers.
