Appearance

Refia has long blonde hair and brown eyes. She enhances her appearance with jewelry, including earrings.

Personality

Refia is a cheerful, lively, and confident girl who possesses a gentle heart. Despite her kind nature, she is strong-willed and assertive, often speaking her mind directly, which leads to occasional clashes with Luneth. Frustrated by the rigorous smithing lessons imposed on her, she exhibits a rebellious streak and frequently runs away from home.

Abilities

As one of the Warriors of Light, Refia possesses the capability to switch between various job classes, enabling her to utilize a wide range of combat skills, magic, and weaponry. She also has a background in blacksmithing training under Takka.

Background

Refia was raised in the village of Kazus as the adopted daughter of the local blacksmith, Takka. Resenting the intense smithing regimen forced upon her from a young age, she routinely fled her household. When a crisis strikes her home and world, she joins forces with Luneth, Arc, and Ingus, embarking on a quest as one of the legendary Warriors of Light.

Relationships

Refia has a complicated relationship with her adoptive father, Takka, often rebelling against his strict blacksmith training. She frequently bickers with Luneth due to their contrasting, headstrong personalities, though they share mutual trust. She maintains strong ties of comradeship with her fellow Warriors of Light, Arc and Ingus.

Trivia

Refia was introduced in the 3D remake of Final Fantasy III to replace the generic, unnamed Onion Knights of the original NES release, giving the party distinct personalities and backstories. She has also appeared as a crossover character in spin-off titles such as Final Fantasy Record Keeper.
