Ben Bigger

Overview

Ben Bigger is a character from the video game Zenless Zone Zero, developed by MiHoYo. He serves as the Head of Finance and Asset Management at Belobog Heavy Industries, a major construction firm in New Eridu. As a bear Thiren, he acts as a Fire-attribute Defense Agent. Despite his massive, intimidating physique, he possesses a gentle demeanor and meticulous business acumen.

Appearance

Ben Bigger is a massive male bear Thiren with a stocky, furry body and brown fur. He features rounded bear ears, a short tail, and a scarred left eye. He is typically depicted wearing a suit accompanied by a gold chain necklace around his neck. Due to not wearing his eyeglasses, he frequently squints his eyes to see clearly.

Personality

Contrary to his stern look, Ben is a soft-spoken, polite individual who treats visitors with respect and modesty. Possessing an exceptional natural talent for mathematics, he handles accounting with extreme precision. He is deeply loyal to his boss, Koleda Belobog, who recognized his skills and promoted him to a management position. Interestingly for a bear Thiren, he dislodges the stereotypic taste for raw fish, favoring caviar instead.

Abilities

In combat, Ben wields a heavy, custom-made tamping rammer produced by his company. Operating as a tank-like frontline unit, his offensive capabilities and shield-granting capacity scale directly with his defense stats. He excels at executing powerful guard-counter techniques, parrying hostile strikes to interrupt enemy actions. Additionally, deploying him alongside Koleda Belobog unleashes unique combined attack animations.

Background

Originally a front-line worker at Belobog Heavy Industries, Ben was promoted to Head of Finance after 1 year and 321 days when Koleda Belobog recognized his uncanny aptitude for numbers. Since then, he has managed the firm's assets, famously memorizing all 58 of the company's accounting ledgers while operating calculators with his large paws to maintain the firm's financial stability.

Relationships

Ben holds absolute loyalty to Koleda Belobog, the president of Belobog Heavy Industries who elevated his role in the company. He works closely with fellow senior colleagues Anton Ivanov and Grace Howard. Additionally, he maintains a warm, respectful working relationship with the Proxies known as Phaethon (Wise and Belle).

Trivia

Ben Bigger's character design emphasizes a heavy gap-moe motif, contrasting his scary beastman look with gentle professional traits. His name is believed to be inspired by the famous London landmark, Big Ben. When sending text messages, he has a noticeable habit of using excessive ellipses.
