Pulchra Fellini

Overview

Pulchra Fellini is an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent in Zenless Zone Zero. Originating as an independent mercenary and information broker in the Outer Ring, she is a feline Thiren who eventually joins the Sons of Calydon faction. In battle, she wields dual revolver-style transforming gunblades.

Appearance

Pulchra is a feline Thiren with yellow body fur, long blonde hair tied in a low ponytail, green eyes, cat ears, and a large cat tail. She wears a mouth filter mask covering her lower face. Her attire consists of a open jacket with detached sleeves over a cropped white inner shirt, short denim shorts, a leg ring, black fingerless gloves, and black spiked platform boots.

Personality

Pulchra is a pragmatic, profit-driven mercenary who puts self-preservation and reasonable compensation first. Early betrayals made her cynical and slow to trust, often maintaining a cold, professional distance. Despite her sharp mouth and strong-willed exterior, she is susceptible to genuine affection and care from others. She retains strong feline instincts, enjoys playful mischief, and has a sensitive cat-tongue that cannot handle hot or spicy food.

Abilities

Pulchra fights using dual gunblades featuring retractable blades on their grips, performing swift melee slashes and gunfire. Utilizing skills such as her EX Special Skill enters her into a Hunting Stride state, enabling off-field follow-up attacks (Bite Claw - Nightmare) when teammates land heavy hits. She also applies a Trapped mark to enemies, increasing the follow-up attack damage dealt to them by all squad members.

Background

Growing up in a impoverished Outer Ring town, Pulchra formed a mercenary squad with her childhood friend Milena, only to be betrayed and left with massive debts when Milena fled with their resources. This led her to become a ruthless solo mercenary and top information broker. After contracting with various gangs and interacting with the Sons of Calydon during Outer Ring conflicts, she was eventually invited to test-join the faction, gradually accepting them as her new home.

Relationships

Milena is her former childhood friend whose betrayal shaped Pulchra's mercenary lifestyle. Burnice White infamously petted and accidentally set fire to Pulchra's tail during their encounter, later warmly inviting her to join the faction. While Caesar King, Luciana de Montefio, Piper Wheel, and Lighter initially viewed her with suspicion due to her mercenary past, they eventually welcome her as an official member. She also maintains a business relationship with Phaethon.

Trivia

Her name 'Pulchra' translates to 'beautiful' in Latin/Italian, while her surname 'Fellini' draws inspiration from the Latin root for feline as well as acclaimed Italian film director Federico Fellini. She shares a June 19th birthday with Hoshimi Miyabi. She lives inside a truck cargo container, leaving a signed sign on the door demanding people knock before entering.
