Burnice White

Overview

Burnice White is a character from Zenless Zone Zero, operating as an S-Rank Fire-attribute Anomaly Agent. Based in the Outer Ring, she is a prominent member of the Sons of Calydon biker gang. She oversees the fuel supply for the group's vehicles while also working as a bartender who serves unique custom cocktails. Cheerful, highly energetic, and immensely friendly toward everyone she meets, she brings an infectious sense of enthusiasm to her team.

Appearance

Burnice has short blonde twintails held by hair clips reading 'FIRE', paired with red eyes and red-tinted sunglasses rested on her forehead. Her outfit features a red-and-black color scheme, consisting of a cropped black leather jacket adorned with flame prints, a short black tube top, black fingerless gloves, and a black flared mini-skirt with safety shorts. On her legs, she sports enamel thigh-high socks with red thigh belts, knee pads, and rear mesh vents, complemented by metallic gold high-heeled pumps featuring wheel-like mechanisms on the heels.

Personality

Burnice possesses an exceptionally upbeat and enthusiastic temperament, treating friends, strangers, and enemies alike with warm familiarity. She dislikes conflict and melancholic moods, willingly jumping in to assist anyone in trouble. However, her extreme obsession with fire earns her a pyromaniac reputation, leading her to casually blast her flamethrowers out of sheer joy or goodwill. She also exhibits immense passion for crafting unique beverages and experimenting with fuel formulas.

Abilities

She wields twin tonfa-style flamethrowers named 'Shake' and 'Stir' connected to a fuel tank, ignited using the built-in heel wheels on her pumps. By spending energy to accumulate Heat Points, she enters her 'Special Fuel' state, allowing her to apply a status that triggers off-field 'Ember' strikes whenever teammates attack. This delivers Fire damage and Anomaly buildup from off the field. Her abilities include spinning flame attacks, continuous streams of fire with damage reduction and interruption resistance, and a leap-and-spray Ultimate with severe flinch capability, making her exceptional at facilitating Disorder triggers.

Background

During the conflict in the Outer Ring, Burnice collaborated with the Sons of Calydon and the Proxy Phaethon to stop Lucius's scheming, helping establish Caesar King as the area's new Overlord. Following a Hollow exploration where she rescued an elderly woman, she received a lottery ticket that unexpectedly hit a three-million-Denny jackpot, using her share of the prize to host a seven-day community refreshment festival. She also formed a bond with the mercenary cat Thiren Pulchra and persistently invited her until she joined the Sons of Calydon.

Relationships

Burnice respects Caesar King as the leader of the Sons of Calydon and shares a close friendship with truck driver Piper Wheel. Her impulsive high spirits are often kept in check by Luciana de Montefio. She maintains solid bonds with Lighter and former comrade Billy Kid. After encountering the mercenary cat Thiren Pulchra, she took a liking to her and welcomed her into the gang. She also holds the Proxy Phaethon, Wise and Belle, in high regard as valued friends.
