Overview

Caesar King is a playable S-Rank Agent in Zenless Zone Zero, developed by miHoYo. She serves as the leader of the Sons of Calydon, a biker faction based in the Outer Ring of New Eridu, and acts as the head of its affiliated transport company, Pig Trotter. Categorized as a Physical-attribute Defense agent, she possesses immense martial strength and a hot-headed, momentum-driven personality. Despite her blunt simplicity, she holds a deep sense of responsibility toward her allies and the local community, riding into battle to protect them directly.

Appearance

Caesar is a tall young woman with dark green hair tied in a low ponytail, styled with bangs framed by an X-shaped hair ornament, and golden eyes. Her left arm is a prosthetic. Her outfit features black thigh-high socks and short boots, alongside clothing marked with the word "KING." She wields an ether alloy longsword whose hilt is fashioned from a motorcycle handlebar, and a custom ether alloy shield made from a motorcycle tire. She rides a custom trike motorcycle designed with two front wheels and a widened rear wheel.

Personality

Caesar is boisterous and hot-blooded, often acting on instinct rather than complex planning. Due to a lack of formal education, she frequently misuses complex words and makes typos. Though her bluntness leads allies to view her as simple-minded, she possesses sharp intuition, strong empathy, and a noble leadership mindset that puts the safety of others above her own pride. Beneath her tough exterior, she harbors a romantic, maidenly side that enjoys love stories and cute things. Conversely, she is terrified of needles and is a picky eater who dislodges carrots and celery.

Abilities

In combat, Caesar utilizes a sword-and-shield style focused on counterattacks. By timing her Special Attack precisely against enemy strikes, she triggers a Just Guard that completely negates damage and delivers a powerful counter-thrust. Executing her specialized skills applies the "Radiant Aegis" shield to active party members, absorbing damage, granting interruption resistance, and boosting overall attack power. Additionally, she can spend Support Points to throw her shield like a projectile, gathering surrounding enemies into a single spot.

Background

Born to the leader of the original Calydon group, Caesar lost her mother at a young age and was raised by Big Daddy following her father's disappearance. A severe injury during her youth resulted in the replacement of her left arm with a mechanical limb. Inheriting the leadership of the Sons of Calydon, she ran the Outer Ring transport operation with her crew. During the Tour de Inferno rally for control over the Old Oil Well Area, she faced dangerous conspiracies and proved her resolve, ultimately earning the title of acting Overlord.

Relationships

Caesar inherited her position from her foster father and mentor, Big Daddy. She relies heavily on Luciana Auxesis Teochiro de Montefio (Lucy) for administrative work, while commanding faction members such as Lighter, Burnice White, Piper Wheel, and Pulchra. She shares a history with her former subordinate Billy Kid, whose spare parts were used to build her arm prosthesis. She also establishes a firm bond of mutual trust with the Phaethon siblings, Wise and Belle, enlisting their assistance during key crises.

Trivia

Her full name "Caesar King" combined with her title "Don" represents a triple repetition of words denoting a ruler or leader. The names of her weapons, "I Came" and "I Saw," are directly inspired by the famous military proclamation "Veni, vidi, vici" attributed to Gaius Julius Caesar.
