Overview
Seed Sr. is an intelligent construct from Zenless Zone Zero and a member of the Obol Squad. Classified as an Electric-attribute Attack character, he originally went by the name Seed. Although his core function has currently fallen silent, his massive frame is operated from within by the current second-generation Seed.
Appearance
Seed Sr. is a massive intelligent construct standing 240 centimeters tall. Built with a military structure, his forearms house built-in twin gatling guns, and he is accompanied by floating bits armed with beam cannons and missiles.
Personality
Despite his heavy military architecture, Seed Sr. yearned to demonstrate that even a construct can possess a heart. In quiet moments, he demonstrates a gentle side, taking up gardening and caring for flowers.
Abilities
Equipped for military deployment, Seed Sr. possesses heavy firepower capabilities. He utilizes arm-mounted twin gatling guns along with floating bits capable of firing missiles and beam cannons to deliver heavy artillery support.
Background
Manufactured as a mass-produced unit for the Defense Force, Seed Sr. was dispatched to Hollow Zero following the fall of the Old Capital. There, he discovered a young orphan with light corruption. When his internal self-defense programming identified the child as a target, he chose to destroy the system at the cost of damaging his own logic core. He adopted the girl, naming her Flora after the flowers at their meeting site, and raised her until his degraded logic core permanently forced him into inactivity.
Relationships
He raised the orphaned girl Flora with deep affection, urging her to care for herself during his long slumber; she subsequently inherited his name and operates his frame. His choices and relationship with Flora were viewed with skepticism and concern by the Obol Squad medic, Veronica.
Trivia
His designation Seed reflects his hope that the orphan he rescued and named Flora—after the flowers where they first met—would blossom as a flower grown from the seed he planted.
