He features short black hair, golden sanpakugan eyes, pale white skin, and pointed elf-like ears. He lacks eyebrows, has a high forehead, and displays sharp fangs. His face is marked by three X-shaped scars, and he wears earrings along with a scarf around his neck. The kanji for Lower Three is engraved in his left eye.
Personality
Wakuraba possesses a strong drive to grow stronger, aiming to ascend even higher after achieving his position as Lower Rank Three. When faced with extreme danger, he demonstrates pragmatic judgment, quickly realizing that answering Muzan Kibutsuji either way will result in execution and choosing to run for his life instead.
Abilities
He possesses superhuman movement capabilities, showcasing extraordinary agility and rapid mobility. However, he is killed before he ever has the opportunity to demonstrate his Blood Demon Art.
Background
Having only recently joined the Lower Ranks as Lower Rank Three, Wakuraba is summoned to the Infinity Castle after Lower Rank Five's defeat. Terrified by Muzan Kibutsuji in female form, he witnesses the senseless executions of Lower Rank Six and Four. Realizing he cannot reason with Muzan, he attempts to flee using his high-speed movement, but Muzan instantly decapitates him. Left as a severed head unable to regenerate, he crumbles to dust on the floor alongside his fellow Lower Ranks.
Relationships
He harbors deep terror toward his master, Muzan Kibutsuji, who ultimately executes him. He is a colleague to the other Lower Rank demons—Enmu, Rokuro, Mukago, and Kamanue—sharing their collective fate during the purge. Lower Rank One, Enmu, views Wakuraba's attempt to flee from Muzan as foolish.
Trivia
His name Wakuraba refers to summer leaves discolored by disease and serves as a traditional Japanese seasonal keyword for summer. The reading of his name was revealed in the official fanbook. In the spin-off Kimetsu Gakuen!, he is depicted as an office clerk at Muzan Kibutsuji's agency who tolerates workplace mistreatment due to high pay and the catharsis of complaining over drinks, employing a rapid information-gathering skill called Urgent Mode.
