Biscuit Krueger

Overview

Biscuit Krueger is a Double-Star Gem Hunter and a senior master of Shingen-ryu kung fu in HUNTERxHUNTER. Although she is 57 years old, she maintains the appearance of a young girl through her Nen ability. As the master of Wing, she acts as a strict yet dedicated mentor to Gon Freecss and Killua Zoldyck, helping them unleash their true potential during the Greed Island and Chimera Ant storylines. She is widely acknowledged as one of the most powerful and experienced hunters in the Hunter Association.

Appearance

Biscuit usually appears as a young girl with blonde hair (brown in the 1999 anime adaptation) and pink or red eyes. Her outfit consists of a frilly dress, hair ribbons, a red capelet, white gloves, and a cross-laced top. Her hair starts in twintails, changes to a ponytail after Binolt cuts it, becomes a chignon during the succession war, and reverts to twintails in the election arc. Her true form is a tall, hyper-muscular physique capable of lifting a 176-centimeter-tall person effortlessly.

Personality

Biscuit frequently acts like an innocent young girl to catch enemies off guard, masking a hot-tempered, cunning, and greedy nature. When dropping her facade, her speech gains a distinct sentence-ending verbal habit. She flies into a fury if referred to as an old woman. Despite her deceptive front, she is deeply earnest when teaching disciples or matching martial artists in serious duels. She harbors an obsession with rare gems and attractive men, while feeling self-conscious about her true muscular appearance.

Abilities

Biscuit is a high-level Transmuter. Through sustained intent, she reshapes her body into a small female form, and reverting to her original muscular build restores her full strength and physical reach without changing her overall aura quantity. Her technique Magical Esthetician summons a conjured masseuse named Cookie, who transmutes aura into custom lotion for fatigue recovery and anti-aging treatments. Its specialized application, Piano Massage, grants the restorative benefits of eight hours of sleep in just thirty minutes.

Background

Having achieved Double-Star status, Biscuit entered the Greed Island selection trials to secure the rare game-exclusive gem Blue Planet. Upon meeting Gon Freecss and Killua Zoldyck, she recognized their unpolished brilliance like uncut gemstones and trained them rigorously in advanced Nen techniques. She reassembled with them during the Chimera Ant crisis for additional training. Later, recommended by Killua, she accepted Kurapika's request to serve as a bodyguard for Prince Marayam of the Kakin Empire.

Relationships

Biscuit is the martial arts master of Wing, making Gon Freecss and Killua Zoldyck her grand-disciples whom she personally trained, viewing their potential as unpolished gems. At Killua's suggestion, she joined Kurapika's team to safeguard a Kakin prince. During Greed Island, she accepted Binolt's request for a clean hand-to-hand duel out of respect for his martial warrior spirit, while in the succession contest, the bodyguard Wellgai developed an admiration for the beauty of her true muscular form.

Trivia

An official commercial figure depicting Biscuit in her true muscular physique was produced by Bandai. Her signature recovery technique, Piano Massage, derives its Japanese name from a famous classic hit song. In the 1999 anime adaptation, her hair was colored brown rather than the blonde used in the manga and 2011 anime series.
