Appearance
Knuckle Bine sports black hair styled into a distinct pompadour. He has a rough, intimidating face reminiscent of a classic street brawler and wears baggy, loose-fitting clothing.
Personality
Knuckle Bine displays a hot-tempered and rough demeanor, but at heart, he is extremely warm-hearted, empathetic, and easily moved to tears. He is deeply devoted to caring for animals, which naturally draw near him. His tendency to sympathize even with enemies makes it difficult for him to be ruthless, as he shuns lethal force in combat. Nevertheless, he is remarkably analytical during fights.
Abilities
Knuckle Bine possesses highly developed mental calculation skills, great physical stamina, and exceptional speed suited for hit-and-run tactics. His signature ability, Bankruptcy (Hakoware), lends aura to a target upon impact while attaching an indestructible floating mascot called Potclean. Potclean tracks the target, accumulating ten percent interest on the borrowed aura every ten seconds. Should the total debt surpass the enemy's total aura capacity, the target goes bankrupt, causing Potclean to transform into Toritaten, which enforces a state of Zetsu on the target for thirty days.
Background
Train under Morel Mackernasey alongside Shoot McMahon, Knuckle Bine tested Gon Freecss and Killua Zoldyck in battle to determine who would join the NGL entry team. During their repeated bouts, he deliberately held back to help Gon grow before defeating him at full strength. As part of the Chimera Ant Extermination Team, he joined forces with Meleoron to battle Menthuthuyoupi, ultimately relinquishing his ability's effect to save Morel's life. Following the conflict, he remained by Gon's side during his recovery.
Relationships
Knuckle Bine holds high respect for his master, Morel Mackernasey, placing Morel's survival above victory. He shares a strong partnership with his fellow disciple, Shoot McMahon. Through their numerous practice battles, he formed a bond of mutual growth with Gon Freecss. Additionally, he executed effective coordinated tactics alongside Meleoron during the palace assault.
Trivia
Knuckle Bine boasts a track record of over 5,000 battles. In combat, he frequently breaks into detailed verbal explanations regarding aura calculations, a habit that often confuses opponents and leaves them open to surprise attacks.
